Charming, small, cozy with some seating (we didn't have a problem securing seats, but maybe that's because Saturday matinees were in progress, meaning maybe the timing was in our favor). “ After MET, on the way to "the outsiders" , We stopped by for coffee and snack, very friendly lady behind the counter is a n artist - we got smooth not bitter cappuccino topped with seahorse, real strong matcha latte taste topped with pretty leaf, and cool ice coffee, yummy toasted hot ham & melted cheese pastry sandwich, this is a definite recommendation! ”

“ If you're a devoted fan of Dunkins or Starbucks,this isn't for you. Frisson Espresso -like most other coffee roasters - are for true coffee afficionados. It's small,tucked away from the city's hustle & bustle, appears to be family owned and only known for locals (I didn't meet a single tourist when inside),There was a long line of folks waiting for their cup of coffee,but thanks to very quick service it was moving rapidly. Coffee is perfectly balanced,just the way I like it (light/medium roast blends available in freshly roasted bean bags for purchase,too). One of a few places selling canneles (not cannolis), which made me super happy! Despite small size,inside and outside looks very cozy and inviting! ”

“ One of the best coffee and overall experiences I had in NYC. This is one of the very few that lived up to the hype and exceeded expectations. I was very pleased. Found them on Yelp - closeby - was looking for some really good coffee. It's a small quaint place. The staff here were very effervescent. Full of energy, very positive. I couldn't make a decision so they helped me out - he's the barista and an artist too - he recommended a Flat White with Oat and sugar free vanilla. Yes! That cup of Flat White Sugar Free Vanilla w/ Oat Milk was the best damn cup of coffee I've had since I could remember. It was just so robust and full of flavor. I loved the depth of their coffee, so smooth, nice strong notes, and I could drink this forever! It was so darn good I got another one to go. The croissants ham n cheese look so good, and so do their sweets and pastries - wow. This place left an impression on me so when I traveled back to NYC the following week I made it a priority to make it back there - and had another great experience. Again I ordered one there and another to go since it was so good and bought some of their expresso beans too. A very pleasant and nice place, with excellent coffee and customer service. I will definitely be back here - - excellent job! ”
